There is a growing crew of midwest pilots that fly almost every weekend (weather permitting)!
Here in the “flatlands”, we mostly get our air time by towing. We currently have multiple tow rigs in the area. Towing allows us to safely get into the air and use thermals to stay up! And if winds cooperate, we even have a foot launch site on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi!
